Welcome at Mohammed V airport. Brief review of the tour during your transfer to the hotel. Check-in, dinner and accommodation.
(Note: The hotel’s restaurant closes at 10:30 PM. No possibility of dinner served in the room)
Day 2: Tangier
Sunday: Casablanca - Tangier
Visit the economic capital of Morocco: the Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa and the exterior of the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Continuation to Rabat. Visit Palais Royale, the Hassan Tower. the Mohamed V mausoleum & the Oudaya Kasbah . Departure to Tangier. Dinner & accommodation
Day 3: Fez
Monday: Tangier - Chefchaouen - Fez
Breakfast at the hotel, orientation tour of Tangier and departure to Chaouen a beautiful blue and white-washed Andalucian town nestled in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy a walking tour through Chefchaouen’s cobbled medina, absorbing the Moorish and Spanish atmosphere. Departure to Fez. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 4: Fez
Tuesday: Fez
The whole day is devoted to the city-sightseeing of Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco: the medieval Medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine mosque. Afternoon: visit of Fez Jdid. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 5: Merzouga
Wednesday: Fez - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Erfoud via Ifrane a delightful ski resort, and Azrou a very nice Berber village known for its handcrafts, then Midelt, another Berber village well known for all the mining resorts that surround the area. Continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the blue water falls of Meski. Continuation to Merzouga with 4WD. After a traditional dinner with Berber dishes, you will spend the night under Berber tents and enjoy a magnificent view of the dunes.
Day 6: Ouarzazate
Thursday: Erfoud - Merzouga - Tinghir - Ouarzazate
Early morning, you can walk over the sands of Merzouga Dune to enjoy the sunrise. Back to the bivouac for breakfast and continuation to Rissani, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty is buried, continuation to Tinghir via the Tinjdad road. Visit the magnificent Todra canyons which rocks reach and altitude of 250 meters. After an optional lunch and departure towards the region of the roses, called the road of the kasbahs and the incomparable crossing of the mountains of the High Atlas, Continuation towards Ouarzazate via Klâa Me Gouna, Arrival in Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 7: Marrakech
Friday: Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, one of the most beautiful Kasbah in the south of Morocco and which is under UNESCO protection. In this Kasbah many films were produced; such as “Lawrence of Arabia”, “ The Jewel of the Nile “ and many others. Continue to Marrakesh via very nice landscapes and many fortified Berber villages of rare beauty and by crossing the Tichka Pass (2270 m alt).
Day 8: Marrakech
Saturday: Marrakech
Visit historical Marrakesh famous for its beautiful palaces and monuments: the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret and Menara Gardens. Afternoon: Explore Secret Garden; Rebuilt in the mid-19th century by an influential Caïd of Atlas. Complete our sightseeing with a stop at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square with its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters. Dinner and accommodation at the host.
Day 9: Casablanca
Sunday: Marrakech - Casablanca
Enjoy a morning at leisure or shopping at the souks. Departure to Casablanca. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10:
Monday: Casablanca - Departure
Transfer to the Mohammed V Airport, Departure with assistance formalities.
