This tour offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion and sensory experience, from the serene plantations of Meijiawu (home of Longjing tea) to the ancient art of Song Dynasty tea-whisking. Beyond the world of tea, you will explore UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the iconic West Lake, the ancient ruins of Liangzhu, and the historic Grand Canal.

Hangzhou: Capital of Zhejiang Province and one of China’s seven ancient capitals, renowned for its enchanting natural scenery and rich cultural heritage.

West Lake: A scenic and iconic landmark of Hangzhou, celebrated for its tranquil waters framed by lush greenery, rolling hills, elegant bridges, and historic pagodas, reflecting centuries of Chinese art and culture.

Meijiawu Tea Village: A picturesque tea-growing region where lush plantations and centuries-old cultivation practices come alive, providing insight into the traditions and techniques behind Hangzhou’s world-renowned teas.

Día 1: ARRIVAL – HANGZHOU: WEST LAKE

Upon arrival at Hangzhou Airport, a local representative will greet you and take you directly to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the West Lake scenic area, where tranquil waters, willow-lined paths, and misty hills create one of China’s most iconic landscapes. Visit the serene “Viewing Fish at Flower Pond” (Huagang Guanyu), known for its vibrant koi-filled ponds and beautifully landscaped gardens.

In the evening, we recommend dinner in the Hubin Business District (at your own expense), a lively area filled with modern eateries and lakeside ambience. Afterwards, follow your guide on a walk along the Hubin Pedestrian Street, a stylish shopping corridor offering tax-free boutiques, illuminated storefronts, and a vibrant nighttime atmosphere.

Día 2: HANGZHOU: LIANGZHU ANCIENT CITY, JINGSHAN TEA CENTER

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your day at the Liangzhu Museum, where you’ll explore artifacts and stories from one of China’s earliest Neolithic civilizations, followed by a peaceful stroll through the Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park. Continue to the Jingshan Tea Culture Experience Center, where you’ll take part in a traditional Jingshan Tea Banquet and discover the refined Song Dynasty art of tea-whisking (Dian Cha).

Día 3: HANGZHOU: GONGCHEN BRIDGE, QIAOXI HISTORIC BLOCK, MEIJIAWU TEA VILLAGE

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the historic Gongchen Bridge, a landmark overlooking one of the oldest stretches of the Grand Canal. Stroll through the charming Qiaoxi Zhijie Historic Street Block, lined with traditional architecture and local boutiques, before enjoying a hands-on workshop at the Grand Canal Handicraft Living Museum, where you’ll craft your own traditional paper umbrella.

In the afternoon, travel to Meijiawu Tea Village. Explore its lush tea plantations and gain insight into the centuries-old cultivation and production techniques behind Hangzhou’s renowned teas.

Día 4: HANGZHOU: LINGYIN TEMPLE, FEILAI FENG – DEPARTURE

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the famous Lingyin Temple, one of Hangzhou’s most iconic Buddhist sites, renowned for its intricate carvings and serene atmosphere. Explore the adjoining Feilai Peak scenic area, where ancient grottoes and stone inscriptions offer a glimpse into centuries of spiritual and cultural history. After the visit, depart from Hangzhou to continue your journey.

Comfortable and light clothing is best suited to travel in the warm months and warm clothing in the colder months in China. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or sparse clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses and a hat can be very useful during your stay.
