El Puerto de Santa Maria Spanien

El Puerto de Santa Maria, El Puerto in short, is a small sized city located in the Cadiz Province in the Andalucia region of Spain. It lies on the North-East shore of the Cadiz Bay and is easily reachable from the city of Cadiz in a short boat trip aboard "El vaporcito" or "El vapor del Puerto". The city expresses an image of history and tradition, with degraded signs of wealth in the many traditional buildings still standing. Tourism is present everywhere, but it seems to have spared the city, with the exceptions of Valdelagrana and Puerto Cherry. With Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera only minutes away, there was no chance to get bored. Good holidays, indeed!
